Meet Our Provider Partners: Why Over 4,000 Providers Trust Ember Health with Their Patients
Schedule Your Ketamine Therapy Consultation Today
When a patient's depression hasn't responded to the usual treatment paths, recommending the next step in their care plan can feel like a leap of faith.
For therapists, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians, referring a patient for IV ketamine treatment means entrusting another clinical team with someone they've often cared for over months or years. It requires confidence in both the treatment and the people delivering it. At Ember Health, we work to earn that confidence every day with every shared patient.
In 2025, Ember partnered with documentary filmmaker Chandler Kauffman to create an award-shortlisted campaign of films exploring the people, stories, and relationships that shape our care. In this film, we meet the clinicians who refer to and share patients with Ember, collaborating with us throughout treatment.
Today, approximately 65% of Ember patients first learn about us through a trusted mental health provider. More than 1,000 clinicians across New York City have referred patients to Ember Health, and we have collaborated with over 4,000 therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals since Ember’s founding nearly eight years ago.
In this film, several of our provider partners discuss what collaboration looks like in practice, and why coordinated care is so important when it comes to treating depression with IV ketamine.
Featuring:
- Kari Groff, MD — Park Slope Child and Adult Psychiatry
- Michael Dulchin, MD — Director of Psychiatry, Union Square Practice
- Christine Menna, LCSW — Founder & Clinical Director, Sōhum Therapy
- Urmi Chakrabarti, LCSW — Psychotherapist
Their perspectives reflect a belief that has guided Ember Health since the beginning:
From initial referrals and treatment planning to ongoing updates and long-term maintenance care, our goal is to remain connected to the providers who know our patients best. Our outcomes data shows that IV ketamine treatment works most effectively when delivered as part of a broader mental health care plan and team, not in isolation.
We believe mental health treatment should be partner-oriented. It takes collaboration, communication, and a shared commitment to the wellbeing of the people we serve. We're honored to be one part of that larger team.
If you're a provider interested to learn how Ember Health collaborates with referring clinicians, we'd love to connect.
